I just made a great gothic bouquet, the roses are dark blood colored velvet fabric and I used black faux oak leaves. My vase is a thrift find from my sister, a ceramic Victorian Granny boot in black enamel! Thrifting is great for vases, candle holders, etc. I have to keep this away from the asshole cats, they think fake foliage is absolutely delicious. Your vase turned out incredible!

I bought that same branch of Halloween flowers and actually made my interior design Halloween project with it. I deconstructed it bought a skull spray painted it black made a hole at the top and with some flower clay I took the flowers and arranged them into the hole at the top of the skull. She's a real looker and I love how she came out (yes I gendered my project XD)

aww this was right on the timing. someone from my family, my aunt, who inspired me to pursue art, recently passed away. i'll make a bouquet drawing based off this on her birthday (October 31) or would her death day (April 23) be more appropriate? sure i'll cry a lot while making the art, but i'll always love her. her name's Rose too, so it struck a chord when you placed them as the core of the bouquet.
