I got so much of these grape vines growing on my property I came here to find something to make with them. Got some huge maybe 3” diameter sized ones as well!

I could also weave some solar fairy lights into it and hang it from the porch ceiling for nighttime ambiance. I think it would look so pretty. I hated throwing the vines away after the leaves fall off. Someone said that they weave birdhouses out of the vines. In a "I have no friends". Video. But that's probably not for a beginner. I need a new hobby. 😇

WOW! That is some large grapevine... But for making craft with the smaller ones are going to be the best. Good luck!

Thank you for the tutorial, I have wanted to work with grapevines to make angels, and this is very helpful. I think I thought you have to soak the vines in water. But I can see they are very easy to handle. Great tutorial.

Where do you get the tan or gold hog rings that you are using in the video? I checked your links, your website and amazon...
@JaneDoe-vi5yc4 жыл бұрын
I want to make some of these! I'm looking for these tools and there are lots of Hog Ring Pliers but nowhere can I find anything that states "#4" or "#3" referring to the pliers' size. Can you instead give me a size or something using inches??? That seems to be how they're listed everywhere. Your link to buy the tools doesn't work anymore. Thanks!

Thank you, Jane Doe, I have fixed the link we moved to an updated website and overlooked this link, very sorry... egrapevinestore.com/how-to-make-grapevine-product/

if you don't have hog reins you can just use wire, but you gotta find the grapevines. fortunately up here we have them all over the place, and willows

He had mentioned in the beginning you can get them at a farm store, like Tractor supply or Farm and Fleet...
