In this video tutorial, I go over how to make a Hammock Activity. A hammock activity adjusts automatically to driver activities as you will see. It can be used in a variety of ways to ensure adjustments happen automatically as you make changes to your schedule.

Hi Tom - love your videos, am recomending them to lots of people. Oh and I'm a different Matt Tucker than the one below :) Once you have linked the date how can you tell what other task it is linked to? I see the grey triangle but can't find out which task it was linked to.

Great ! I have been struggling when adjusting dates. This will help a lot. Except for the visual editing (hammock activity in grey) Is there a way to know when such a constraint has been set? Thank you!

Hi Mickael, in the start date or finish date cells beside the task there should be a little triangle in one of the corners of the cell boxes. Hope that helps.

first of all, many thanks for sharing this method. Unfortunately, the method doesn't work in my MSP (2016) even though I did exactly the same as what you teach here. This method doesn't work though, I really really like your videos about the MSP and I think they are the best ones I have ever known.

Sorry to hear that Richard, it was a but buggy in some versions, ill review and think about an alt way of getting the same results. I find when one thing does not work there is usually a different way that does. Thanks for your feedback and for watching

Hi Matthew, are you using paste special And clicking paste link within the Paste special box. Also when you change the duration in the driving task it takes a few seconds for it to change the hammock task
