Looks great! All I would say is you haven’t got much strength just using those tiny screws to fix those big metal legs in place. If someone drags the table, that could easily fail. I’d have put the framing in a different place, so you could fix the legs into that with long screws or even threaded inserts and bolts. Aesthetically looks lovely though 😊

This looks amazing! As a novice when you removed the tongue and groom did you just cut them down so they was all the same size ?

Thanks! Yeah and it's important they are all the same size otherwise the herringbone pattern won't be seamless. If you give this build a go we'd love to see your version.

Out of interest why did you remove the T & G from the long edges of the wood flooring? I'd have thought it would have been handy to lock them together?

There is usually a tongue on the end of the board as well and if you've cut lengths down to the 30cm, after a few rows it'll butt up against a board without a groove and you'll be left with a gap in the pattern.
