Great video, the honeycomb has always been an issue for me . One thing, instead of cut and paste in illustrator you could have gone to (release layers "Sequence").

Matt....Thank for the video great content. I'm fairly new working with this program and I wanted to know that once you've created the design, I tried to rasterize and create a vector image but it make the image blurred and cartoonish. Do you have a recommendation to ensure the image is sharp and ready for use?

Why not make a Clipping Mask? its way too easy... Thanks for the tut btw :)
@MattBorchert8 жыл бұрын
No problem - and clipping masks work just fine, but I noticed if you used a clipping mask on a bunch of big images inside Illustrator and then try to copy and paste it out into something like Photoshop the program would freak out and freeze / crash. If you're handling all your exporting from Illustrator I don't think that would be an issue.

I know you said that :) and i was talking about Photoshop.. Clipping mask is not a match for illustrator :D thanks anyway ^_^

Oh haha. Yeah I think that boils down to personal preference and whatever works best for you. I really like the flexibility of a standard layer mask, and it's what I've pretty much always used, so that's what I decided to show. If you prefer clipping masks by all means use those instead. :D
