I swear this SX is the best thing I have ever bought. I find it incredible how superb you guys are at performing your beats live. If I try and play the melodies and the beats at the same time, my fingers end up out of control waltzing across the desk and up the wall 😛 Sampling the beats in mono will be a huge help SPVids suggested this too. Many thanks folks.

Thank you for all your videos. I learned so much from them and you inspired me getting into beat making during Corona times. Only thing I can't figure out yet is how you record into the Tascam without clipping? If I want to record into my Tascam I have to turn down the SP404 volume so much that I can't hear the beat on my headphones any more. Do you mind making a small video where you explain your recording settings etc.?
@lilmissbeats4 жыл бұрын
on your tascam you can change the input levels before recording. if it clips a red light 'peak' will go on. So make sure you change the input levels on the tascam to be low enough so the peak light doesn't go on. on my tascam I change it by pushing the rewind or FF buttons - on the screen a bar popps up that says 'levels'. :)
