I have to say, this is not only a great tutorial in terms of the content and your easy-to-follow instruction, but the production values... Amazing job. Thank you so much

Love the tutorial! But I would cut back on the graphics, they make it more confusing and when I watch sewing videos I like simple because they’re supposed to be relaxing so if there’s lots of pop ups it stress me a bit.

Great tutorial, as always! That said, the new graphics and editing made it much more difficult for me to concentrate on what you were explaining in the drafting & intro sections. Between pop-ups, the large moving background/animated graphics, cutaway transitions, etc it was too busy for me to follow. During the sewing segments of the video the graphics (arrows, circles, etc) often felt distracting & unnecessary (ex: the arrows pointing at where you were clipping the curve @7:17 & the arrows pointing at seemingly nothing when you were serging the sleeves @8:32). They're definitely on trend, but they aren't being used to really do anything ?? if that makes sense. It feels like most were thrown in just for the sake of ~editing~ and to me it comes across as the editor not understanding or caring about the subject matter being shown. On that note, there were also a few clips where the audio or voiceover didn't match with the clip being shown, which may confuse beginner viewers. The outro (reveal) editing also made it difficult to see the finished garment! Which should low-key be the money-maker shots of the video! It's an interesting direction, but graphics and effects need to be used more thoughtfully - if they don't serve to clarify/simplify/emphasize what's being communicated, they become a distraction! Hopefully all of this isn't too out of pocket, I really like your videos and I wanted to give you some very honest feedback.

I really really appreciate your feedback! We are moving toward a much more toned back experience and I agree with most of what you said. Though I knew many of the edits could be seen as distracting I decided to present it as a trial just to see what people thought. You can definitely expect more toned back videos moving forward :)
