Lovely work and inspiring video as always! Thank you. Somewhat sobering to think of you being inundated by the sea. I hope that the way forward becomes clear.

THANKS FOR SHARING, To bad you couldnt move this building across the road rather than loose it to the water

We are considering lifting it up 7 feet but that means we cannot use it commercially, we would need a huge ramp construction for wheel chair access. So it would become for personal use only with no public access. Or, we can loose the bottom floor once the water level invades it, crib the whole structure and just use the top floor. Meantime I still need a studio higher up on the hill. Long term plans that hopefully we will not need. The road is the towns problem and that is already getting storms washing across it. Nova Scotia is a sea faring community and everyone lives near the water, just one million of us, all to be moving inland over the coming decades. If I was younger I would consider that too, but we will just enjoy what we have and hope for the best. I do wonder about heavily populated places like Florida and the gulf states, one storm back in 2015 cost us $45K in damage. There is a construction boom here with houses being built right on the beaches. What are they thinking? Sorry to ramble.

As always, Vaughan, you have put out another great video filled with inspiration ❤️ * regarding no need for calipers, my Steve, he says he's got precision "Eye-chrometers" 😂😂 I love it when that happens though, there is a certain "feel" to it, don't you agree? You guys are in my thoughts and prayers always and now your beautiful building 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Much Love, Ange (LaLa)

Love your videos. Im late seeing this this time. Most things got pushed back as Saturday was my wedfing day. I usually watch on sunday with coffee in hand made pottery mugs. Just a thought on the flat chattering tool. Can you rock it. ie move the heal up and down. to see how it affects the chattering. Keep the great videos coming Allen

I have done that in earlier videos where I show how the chattering changes depending on the angle and speed. They are very versatile. Congratulations on getting married, I hope you have many decades together. We are coming up on 45 years.

Such beautiful robust big pots! Your chattering really adds to the overall effect (my chattering is a bit insipid by comparison!). Have you looked into having your sutdio building moved up onto a higher piece of land? Amazing what some moving companies can do.

@@Vsmithpotsramble away! So true how many people will be migrating inland in the next years. Hopefully you find a solution for your and Jackie's studios/work spaces. Every time NS has a storm I wonder how you are faring. Thanks for your weekly videos, I (and so many more people) really look forward to them each weekend.

Thanks Susan. We just love it here and are willing to take a chance, but a new studio on the hill is a good back up plan. I will talk about it in a video as things firm up. I want it to be totally green.@@susanvalleauderby2934
