Another great video sir. That weight bag would look great on any leather worker's crafting table. Heck it would look great as a paper weight or just a throwing bag. Also, that's a mighty fine sewing machine you have there. Hope that helps you as you said to sew much faster, practice makes perfect.

Thank you! I agree, the weight bags are cool looking. They would be nice as a paper weight on a nice wood table. They are soft so they will not damage the table.

My first video I've watched of yours. Great job on the sewing. Can't wait to see the others.

Thank you very much! I am looking forward to really being able to use the sewing machine with confidence. Until then I will be sticking to hand stitching for my projects. I am practicing as much as possible. Thank you for the kind words! I hope you enjoy my channel. :)

What a great idea. I have leather and all of the needed leather working tools for this, but I'm a complete newbie to leather work. I also think a slightly smaller version would be great as fabric pattern weights for sewing, which I need more of. Seems like this would be a perfect starter project.

I agree! It is a fun project that is also creating a tool that you will most likely use forever. Just make a smaller circle. :) Thank you for your comment.

Just a thought. Couldn't you add the BB's, glue it shut and then Stitch the entire project? Certainly the glue would hold the project together while you filled it and then went to stitch it. Thanks

Yes, I totally agree. That would of worked and it is a better idea. Not sure why I did it this way. Maybe I was just being careful not to spill the BB's but in hind site that would of been a better idea. Thank you.

Can you give the diameter measurement of your circle?
@baronleathercraft2 ай бұрын
Sure thing, it is 4.625 slightly over 4 1/4 inches but you can make it any size you want as you know. Thank you for the comment. :)

About how heavy do you want it to be?
@jasonneumann34188 ай бұрын
Never mind, I asked while I was watching.
@baronleathercraft8 ай бұрын
It is still a good question. I would recommend no less then 1lb 3 oz. You are limited by size and thickness. I think 1 1/2 lb would be best. Your better off making it heavy since if it to light it will not be useful and the chances of it being to heavy are very slim. :)

I’m still trying to figure out what I do with the onion. 🤣
@baronleathercraft5 ай бұрын
😀! Personally I decided to fry it up in oil to a nice caramelized state. Maybe add some garlic. :) Thank you for sharing in the joy of my silliness. 😄
