Making a tooled leather belt with stamps. Leather Craft Belt Making.

In this leather crafting video I am making a tooled leather belt with Sergey Neskromniy Stamps #418, #433 L and R. I share a great way to line up the stamps. I also use Bee Natural resist, Fiebings antique and dyes, etc... Leather belts are a fun and practical project and they make great gifts.

I have a #163. Beautiful pattern but for me impossible to get nice results. The #418 looks more manageable.

@@baronleathercraft thanks I ordered a set after I watched your vid the first time. I really liked the look but when I first tried it it wouldn’t fit so I used it on a purse lid turned out nice . I figured out what I was doing wrong while I was asking the question.good ole boy just kindly dumb. Lol thanks

@@donpayne562 No, you not dumb. It is actually tricky for me to find all the measurements when I make it as well. I actually make scrap pieces of leather the same width as the belt and then test my measurements. I do not find it easy personally. Especially with that center stamp. If you use it three times in a row it is easy to find the center but when you only stamp it twice it is strange because it overlaps. Enjoy!
