After watching this video I realized you made this 4 years ago. Although I did enjoy this particular video and I did learn a bit as well, I do appreciate your growth as a videographer as well as delivery. Well done sir.

13:26 I wonder how many people actually caught this Solid Gold Dancer audition. But seriously, with the dance fever at the end I feel like you really have a good eye for what makes good content...that bit of irreverence bodes well to grant insight into your personality. Good job.

Nice! I really like the soapstone inlays. I didn't know you could cut them with wood tools. That's handy info. Thanks for sharing! Subbed!

Beautiful wood for an incredible table build. You are truly a craftsman. Dumb question for you. In Japan, live edge builds use the bark but from what I can tell, in America, it is removed. Do you happen to know why?
@ENCurtis
@ENCurtis 5 жыл бұрын
Mostly stylistic differences. Only difficulty with bark is that the wood can continue to shrink and the bark can fall off. But, as you've seen in Japan, it's possible to work around that issue.

That table looks great! Good job. Be careful using soapstone. Some varieties have asbestos. Probably not much to worry about, but wanted to mention it.

Beautiful. It looks more like Frake than Beech, though. Are they in the same family? Or have my wood pusher misinformed me?
