Here @TheHappyHootie we strive to save you time and money. For this project we will be providing a step by step instructions on how to make a great mirror for your home or office. This is a #woodworking project that can be completed in a couple of days. If you have the raw materials and some tools this can be a #diy project but it would require a moderate skill level and a few advanced tools to make it an easy one.
It is my hope that you will be able to see what beautiful works of art can be created out of raw wood that many would discard as "junk" because it has knots or imperfections. I take you through the entire process from start to finish. This is a longer video, but I hope that it acts a great tutorial if you had an interest in woodworking. You will #love the results.

Yes. Its not as bad as you think. If you find a piece of wood that has a lot of imperfections and holes in it, you can end up with some really cool ones. I have made quite a few. Live edge walnut ones always turn out nice too!

If you had the materials and the mirror, it could be done in an afternoon. I did it over several days as I would just work a bit and then do other things. Thanks for your interest :-)

not concerned with natural wood movement? Does that gorilla glue have some flex when dry?

What is used is called “mirror mastic”. (I believe I am spelling that correctly. It’s specifically designed to glue glass / mirrors. I have one hung in my house that has been there for about 5 years with no issues. That being said. YES wood does flex if it’s not settled. Make sure the moisture content is not considerably off from the end point you will be hanging the end product. Our wood has sat for a few years and I still test it with a moisture meter. Good luck 🍀
