I could just hug you!! This is such a great instructional video, that's been soooo helpful, and I can't believe how fast it's going together using chain piecing! (But, without your step-by-step process, I'd have gotten them all boggled up!) Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing your process for assembling this block. You dispelled the myth I had in my head that I was going to need hours and hours to create a block. You have given me a gift of a time saver and I'm grateful.

Your method is more in tune to production sewing. I worked in the garment industry and there is a lot of piecing. Some measure and cut the strips to a size. This works for me. Thank you.

I’d love to know how to do a twisted or wonky log cabin! Have you done a video on those? I’ve made several log cabin quilts and must say I loved your video. I’m sending it to others for I found your technic and video straight forward and made it easy and fun.

Hi Mrs Brie, love your cabin quilt block and the patterns are creative. My Christmas went well saw family and spent time together. How was your Christmas?

Oh wonderful! Glad you got to spend time with family during the holidays-thats so important. Our Christmas was nice and peaceful. Spent time surrounded by family as well and it was super relaxing. It was the first Christmas in our new log house and the first time we have been able to have a Christmas tree since both my kids were born. Living in a 700 sq ft house we didn't have room for decorations or a tree really so this was the first BIG Christmas we've had.

I m have a pattern that says the finished squares should b e 8 inches. How wide would your strips be to get an 8 inch square? I know the center square is 2.5 inches. I can't figure out how to square the block up to make it 8 inches, Your video was very helpful. It seems alot easier to do it your way than what my pattern shows. Thank you!

I’m doing a queen size quilt for a friends son who has been through a whole lot. I wanted the log cabin quilt pattern but I wanted to change it up a little bit. Is there a such thing as a straight log cabin? With strips 18” long and stack them intermittently? What is the correct name for that? Thanks I’m advance

It would be more helpful if after adding every strip you held it up to the camera so we could see.
