American buttercream (butter & icing sugar)

Hi Amy, what is your food coloring? Mine is gel, but it didnt incorporate well in the american buttercream and whe I applied, it didnt form any pattern, :(

I use colour mill or colour splash, yours may be water based which is less pigmented and doesnt blend well :)
