I'll be periodically updating this comment for questions. FAQ: Q: I can't find Dolphin Emulator in documents, where is it? A: Some people have it in %AppData%\Dolphin Emulator , try there. If you still cannot find it, ask for further help Q: How do I play online races? A: If you apply for a region at wiimmfi.de/region/apply#apply , you can change the settings to allow for regional and battle races. There are anti-cheat settings enabled by default, so you may want to turn some off depending on what you are doing. You also can play in friend rooms as long as all players have the same files and settings. Q: Can I play normal worldwides? A: Not recommended. If you play with different settings or files, such as custom characters or gecko codes, you may be banned. However, if all you have is custom tracks, you should be able to without issue, though I would still advise against using your personal distribution to play online. Q: What if I don't want to register for a region / what if I only play offline? A: You can choose any number for a region. Keep in mind that going online would get your profile flagged and banned. Q: I want to have custom characters. How do I do that? A: You can put the files into the "MyStuff" folder, located inside the pack folder you created. Just make sure the correct file name. Q: Is there a way to make a distribution more accessible? A: In Dolphin emulator, from the "start with riivolution patches" menu, you can save a present with your settings. Please ask any further questions, it's best to ask for help than create problems due to a mistake.

Yes you can, you just throw in region 1 for example.

Good tutorial but how do i add custom cup icons?

There is a CupIcons folder inside the input folder. Put them here, and you can mass import them with the name you want the cup to have (ex. Mushroom Cup) and the name of the file (ex. Mushroom.png). By default, the size for cup icons is 128 x 128. To search for images at this exact size, type what you want to search followed by "imagesize:128x128". (Ex. Bowser imagesize:128x128)

Yes to both! I play pretty regularly with friends and haven't had any issues yet. Most gecko codes will also work. It will be 30 fps on 3 and 4 player rooms, and the 60fps gecko code is one of the few that will not work. 30 fps on 3/4 is default for mkwii, so it shouldn't feel any different fortunately.
