Big Mac doesn't look like it's either last time I saw one 5 yrs or more back. My brother's hand dwarfed the sandwich. Looked like a stacked kids 🍔 & didn't look tempting. But AB's version...Oh my yes temptation, yes..🤗

There is no ketchup in Big Mac sauce. Paprika is the thing that makes the color of the Big Mac sauce.

I use mayo as butter all the time...asiago cheese grilled on raisin bread spread with mayo....I also use mayo and hot sauce as a dip for fries... ❤❤❤❤

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I might not do the inside bread though and go with multiple smash burgers for maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of a lb and add tomatoes but idk if you'd consider that a big mac anymore lol. One question though, did you touch the buns after the ground beef when you were sizing it up? Not a problem if you ground it yourself though but not with store bought ground beef. Looks good though my guy! New subscriber!

This is how I remember them being when I was a kid in the 70s. Those sandwiches were huge. They opened a McDonalds in my grandma’s neighborhood in ‘74 near my old elementary school and I remember a teacher saying she was so hungry that she could eat two Big Macs. As a kid, I was thinking two? AB’s version looks great.

Jordan Stallion of the fast-food secrets club. He got it from Dan Kudrow who is the Head Chef at McDonald's. There is no ketchup in Big Mac sauce. Here's the real ingredients on how to make Big Mac sauce. Do with this what you will. 1 cup mayonnaise ¼ cup of sweet pickle relish 2 tbsp of Dusseldorf mustard but regular mustard will work. 1 tsp of white wine vinegar 1 tsp of onion powder 1 tsp of granulated garlic. 1¼ tsp paprika ⅛ tsp of white pepper Have Fun!

As for the ketsup debate, 😂, i dont really prefer 1 over another cause 1 bottle can last me well over a yr! But i was in my local corner store about a yr ago and they only had Heinz, but instead of saying " tomato ketsup" it was labeled "Tomato Blood"!!! I HAD to buy it even though i didnt need it, it just amused me SO much!!! I am saving the bottle when its finally empty 😂😂😂

You didn’t say hold the onions. I add minced or grated onions in the sauce. I also add a little white vinegar for acidity, along with garlic and onion powder. I’m pretty sure the Worcestershire sauce adds great flavor, though. And I add more minced onions when assembling the burger. I liked to toast the buns in butter. I tried using mayo instead of butter for a grilled cheese, and didn’t really like it.
