Juicing tip. You can cut the kale and celery at the same time to speed up juice time :) I just started doing it for fun I make juices everyday and also you can use a giant bowl or cooking pot to mix all the fruit and veggies in to make it easier to juice all of them evenly helping push the produce threw :)

Thanks for the reference to the movie. From that I went to Sugar: The bitter truth, which is a lecture about fructose. It's nice to consider this, when juicing fruits compared to eating them whole with the fiber included. I'm not trying to be extremist in that regard and say no to juicing fruits, because this has its benefits, of course, when it comes to the rest of the nutrients. However, it's good to consider the bigger picture as well. All the best.

Thank you for the video we fixed one up sent the blade in to get re sharpened and it still works like a champion it is a old one got it off craigslist two years ago but got the solo star 2 after purchasing this one and gave the champion to our brother in law :) is a cool juicer tho worth every dollar

... Its a highly processed food. I encourage everyone to eat REAL foods. Of course even in processed foods, there are good, better, best. I would say its better to drink a soylent than eat a hamburger. I would say drinking fresh juice from garden-grown mineral rich produce is BEST of them all.

John, I just bought one of these Champion household juicers for banana ice cream/fruit sorbet from Champion directly (because of the free shipping) and am returning it, the cutter on this juicer and the sprocket it turns on comes coated with axle grease or some kind of petroleum type grease that infiltrated & ruined a very expensive batch of frozen bananas & other fruit & destroyed it. One mouthful coated the roof of my mouth and tongue with grease which tasted like motor oil and took hours of wiping off with paper towels to remove. John, I love your vids and products but this juicer is a public health hazard and should be taken off the market. After juicing I tried to remove the grease from the cutter shaft with a bottle brush but it just isn't do-able unless you had some type of solvent which I have no desire to mess with. They have made virtually no design changes over the years, don't reward them by making videos of a lousy product. They need to take this back to the drawing board. We're not supposed to be ingesting petroleum grease. The banana ice cream was not as fluffy as I remembered either, there are many other juicers and blenders that do just as good a job. My Blendtec made better fruit sorbet than this. I'll be getting a different and proper juicer/sorbet maker from you very soon.
