You can also take any of my vanilla recipes and scale them down to be smaller. - A final note, you need to link your Google Plus account to your youtube account, at the moment nobody can reply to any comment you leave on a video. So i baked this for my bf, but in healthy way. I used coconut oil, coconut sugar and skimmed milk instead of the regular ones. And guess what? it turned extremely yummy. Can’t wait to bake more. 😍 Thanks for the recipe! Those wanting a more healthier version can use wheat flour instead and organic cocoa powder too.

The best thing to do in this case, is to bake it once before you need to officially bake it for your friend's Birthday. This way you will have much more confidence ! Also, what type of frosting is up to you, make what you like. I have many frosting recipes on my KZbin channel that are super easy to make !

Oh my gosh. This was hands down AMAZING! Im making a small cake for a drive-by birthday for my friend this afternoon, and I had a bit of batter left, with that, I put it in a mug lined with leftover coffee. I then put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, took it out to check on it ,and oh my god did it rise! I put it back in for another 20 seconds and it was DELICIOUS. Robert Khan Hi Robert, yes, you could simply omit the cocoa and make a vanilla cake. I do have recipes for vanilla cakes on my channel too, just search my channel from my main page using "vanilla" and you'll find others.

Wow!!i made this and it turned put awesome.I didnt have baking powder so i added 2 pinches of baking soda wow.i decrated it and it looked and tasted better than a bakery cake . You got a subscriber

+Bernie Ellis Hi Bernie, yes you can 2x or 3x or 4x this recipe without any problem at all, it will take longer to bake depending on the size of your baking tin. If the tin you use is much wider, then it may only take 5 minutes longer, - if the baking tin is higher then this will result in even a longer baking time. As always, use a toothpick or a wooden skewer to test to see if the center of the cake is baked correctly.
