Man it's a bummer I live in Germany. I'd be the first to buy one of those whips. I feel like I'd be totally confused. I couldn't even braid pieces of rope after someone thought me how. It looked like a British chain (like on tanks but i.g. )compared to a German made chain ⛓️. 😄

is there a mistake when you are measuring out the yellow and black strands at around 1:00:00? you say to measure out 2x 12ft strands (1 yellow and 1 black) then 1x 9.5ft strand of black then an 8ft strand of black again then a 5.5ft yellow and a 4ft black?? that makes 4 black strands and 2 yellow ones, you say there needs to be 3x of yellow and 3x of black. which one needs to change to yellow?

Well the reason why I wad watching was cuz I was beating the shit out of everything in my house just like he was in the start of the video, and wanted to make a tiny whip so I could play inside and my wife not want to kill me for destroying the living room

This was an alternate reason for watching. But mainly because I wanted to make a small whip to play with inside the house and not have my wife murder me for destroying the living room with the full side whip

Love the new project. you inspired me to start making whips years ago with the controversial electrical tape whip. Since then I’ve made six as gifts for friends and family, and nothing lights up someone’s face like the first time they break the sound barrier. Thank you for making this art accessible to so many, and keep up the killer work.

I found your video on a suggested list. I've always wanted to try making my own bullwhip, bought books and everything, and i have to say your videos are a whole HEAP more helpful than any book. Your demos are so detailed and precise people can't help but be successful in making whips and once my winter layoff starts i'll be trying my hand at making this little wonder. And one last thing I wanted to add...Your like the Bob Ross of whip making, your soft voice and pleasant demeaner makes watching your videos a "JOY in whipmaking", all your missing is your happy little friends...LOL. Thanks for giving me a new hobby to add to my arsenal.

Nick, I just want to thank you for the tutorials you have made. Many, many years ago my grandfather wanted me to learn how to build whips from his neighbor. I was very young and never had the “time” or patience for it. Fast forward 40 some odd and I by happenstance see one of your videos and watched it completely. I was mesmerized by it and then proceeded to watch several more. Then I thought hmm, I might just be able to do this. I went to Lowe’s and purchased some paracord and a few other supplies and made my first 6’ bullwhip. I was so proud of it when I finished. Some of my friends really liked it and wanted me to make them one. I made a second one for my wife’s friend who lives in Alaska. It turned out even so much better than the first one. I could see a lot of the imperfections in the first one now a lot more. Mainly how the taper just was not great. She absolutely loved the whip! I have now made 2 more 8’ whips for a friend of mine and my Uncle. Thank you so much for inspiring me and everyone else that you have helped to bring into this hobby. You will really never know how much joy you have brought into my life by your videos. I’m gonna stop now, otherwise I will just keep rambling on. Keep up the work brother!

I really enjoyed this video; very meditative. I've made/attempted a handful of whips in the past, but now I want to try a mini bullwhip. It's really, really helpful that you have links to all of the supplies, especially the whipmaker's cord. Thanks, Nick!
