How to make a offset trench set for coyotes

I have used the trench set a few times. I will for sure try this one. Coyotes didnt want to step down in the trench. I think this one will work. I am fixing to start trapping a hunting club. 5000 + acres. And its mostly sandy soil. So easy too work with. Last yr i took 53 coyotes off it. I used to hate flat sets. But now i use them a ton now. Here something about a cow vertebrae used in a flat set. Coyotes sure likes them.

what is the exact function of the guide sticks placement? Does the trap fire and throw the yotes paw out of the kill zone?

Was the trap bedded at an angle? Or was it just the camera angle? First season for me and I know practically nothing lol.

Is there any advantages/disadvantages to angled traps? I actually just bought some of your lures from fnt after they were recommended to me. Hellfire, hostile, and I forget the other one. I mainly have access to hardwoods with some scattered open areas, streams, old partially overgrown logging roads, and very few trappable woods. I read coyotes are hard to get with footholds in the woods though.@@DunlapLures-SheTraps

How do u tell the young from the old coyotes?

So here in central Texas wherever there is sandy soil like in the video there are usually pocket gopher monds everywhere. You'd think that they would be high on the list of critters coyotes would be targeting for prey but ive never actually seen where any of the mounds or uncovered holes have been dug up by coyotes why do you think that is. In the soft sand you would think a coyote would be able to dig one out in no time.

dirt holes and flat sets are all you need to catch animals!!

Not concerned with packing the dirt around the trap?

No if you cut the hole the right size you don’t have to pack pack pack. When you use a cookie cutter you don’t pack any dirt
