Great looking set Jeff! I've been putting my trap too far down the trench, so seeing this now I know what my mistake has been. Thanks for sharing 👍🇺🇸

Jeff their are certain type of people that just don't care for my new death dealer hoodie. It's not like I'm wearing it to church. I knew I should have got 2. I enjoy each and every video man,don't never stop.

@@DunlapLures-SheTraps I wore my Dunlap T-shirt, that says "I spent all of my money on trapping supplies and wild women. The rest I just wasted." to do paperwork at my church, (I'm the church secretary.....don't tell anyone). My pastor comes in and says, that is not a good shirt to be wearing in the church. He knows I'm a trapper!! :)

What is the distance from the trap to the hole? Or the general rule thumb for that set up?
@DunlapLures-SheTraps5 жыл бұрын
It depends on spot but 14 to 16 inches
@ChrisGilliamOffGrid6 жыл бұрын
I like that. Never tried one. If it ever stops raining I'll give it a go.

Jeff do find Greys hug up close to the hole,where coyotes stand back as you said...I target grey I use pretty much all trench step downs..do u think I would catch more if I pulled the trap back.i always set tight to the hole..
@DunlapLures-SheTraps5 жыл бұрын
Houseknives on a trench set even for greys I set back. But on any other set I set up tight if I’m only trapping greys. In Louisiana the coyotes would push the tight holes but most other places I’ve trapped they wouldn’t on wholesale level.
@DunlapLures-SheTraps5 жыл бұрын
I like the trench set because it’s like a pocket set on land that pops everything
