How to Make a Pencil Quilt Block

It's back to school time and we are celebrating with a foundation paper pieced pencil block!
This cute pencil quilt block is an easy pattern to follow and uses up scraps. It's perfect to turn into an assortment of projects and would make a cute gift for that special teacher in your life.
The pencil block is part of our newest project, our very first book. This book is based on the I Spy quilts, but instead of using fabric prints, we are constructing each of our blocks using foundation paper pieced patterns. There are going to be 100 different objects to make.
