It's easier to buy a High end gaming laptop and use Ps2 emulator on it and game with it using third party controller

@Mohammed Gamer He’s right. It could be much better. It’s not at all terrible, but with a few adjustments, it could look and feel better. Honestly, it’s not very appealing. It kinda just looks like a big brick. Regardless though, it is a portable PS2, so it’s tough to make it perfect, of course. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this guy spent so much hard work on it that he should absolutely feel proud of it. Like I said though, it could look and feel better design-wise. For an easy homemade portable, it’s a solid 7/10.

I'd start learning to solder. Then go from there. Been installing modchips and stuff for a few years now, finally confident enough to start looking into handheld wii and handheld ps2

start with modding gameboy's that's a great entry point for soldering then try more and more advance gameboy mods. the small form factor also really helps with dexterity. then try to move onto your first console portable. generally something easier then a ps2. like an n64 or a wii

Awesome man! It does my heart good to see people are still making ps2 portable after all this time. Really great to see. Soon enough portable ps2 emulation will be more accessible. But for those hobbyists this is a great option too. Not really cost effective but still awesome. Kinda odd that you didn't really trim the board tho. Still cool man. Nice job

@@polyphonydigital damon ps2 also lags on many games not all games are playable for retro stuff one came use emulators emuelec etc but ps2 onwards gamecube wii etc there emulation isn't that easy even nvidia shields show lags in ps2 that's why I prefer real hardware from seventh generation games nes snes atari gba n64 ps1 dreamcast also have no issues in emulation.. Ps2 itself is a legend these days super cheap its good to buy 2/3 keep them as back up fat ps2 with internal hard disk is best to enjoy ps2 games
