Great video mate. May I suggest sticking the board to the leather and then cutting the leather to fit the board? That way if you’re slightly off in sticking it down, it won’t matter.

yeah it can also be done like that. I just didn't want to get glue on the leather I might use on something else.

How much better wld u say a strop makes an edge .

I can take a knife from only popping a few hairs to cleanly shaving my arm with a strop. I feel like it’s either the last step in knife sharpening or the best tune up for a knife edge. So I’ll say it makes a world of difference

Give it a try man. I know some people don’t see the use in it, but it also cuts down on sharpening the blade if you just hit it on the strop instead of the stone
