Yes. I really like the subtle yet definite highlight the black adds. On another quiller’s video she mentioned using Glad PressnSeal to cover the work board. I gave it a try and really like it. I just wrapped a bit of material around each side. I’m still using the same pieces 3 months later.

I've never tried Press N Seal. I have a hard enough time using it in the kitchen 🙃 !

These are gorgeous. Just gave them a go. They came out well, looking just like yours, but I just cannot get the centre as small as yours no matter what I do. I finally got all five to fit only a bigger hole in the centre. Cannot pinch them any tighter. I think I’ll give them another go with maybe a 10” strip so they are a little looser, as I feel they are pinched so tight they loose the quilled look a bit.

You should definitely change the petals up if that works better for you! If you prefer to see the layers of paper, then not pinching as much should help 🤩
