Great job.. I’ll be making one now. I use cooling strips on cake pans to keep tops from peaking also it keeps the edges very moist 👍🏼

Awesome job. When I made mine version 10 years ago the only thing I did different was added a thin layer of icing between the layers trust me it made a difference.

You do yours like mine. I’ve seen people STILL add cream cheese on the cake and top it off with the cheesecake. I think that’s too much. I made this 10 years ago and everyone loved it!! This time I iced it with brown butter cream cheese icing. Sooo good!

I’m literally using this recipe RIGHT NOW!!! My cheesecake is in the freezer and I just took my red velvet cakes out of the oven! I did cheat on the red velvet and used box cake 😥 but I couldn’t find cocoa powder ANYWHERE!! But I did make the cheesecake from scratch and I’ll make the frosting in a few minutes!! Can’t wait to tell you how it turns out!! Do you have instagram?? I’d love to send you pictures of the finished product! It’s for my cousin, so I’m not stressing too much about my frosting flowers not being perfect like yours lol
