Formula doesn't work with newer versions of C4D, as some people have mentioned. Using C4D 2024.1.0, I've found a formula that worked: round(rnd(40;100)) Obviously adjust numbers as needed for different effects. Beyond that, I don't have much experience with this sort of thing. Great experiment!

Any particular reason why you used the Spline Effector (in Object "Deformation" mode) instead of simply using the "Align to Spline" tag?

Yes, it's because the cloner can not recognize animations from the spline tag. So I needed another way to have the object animated procedurally, and stil be able to use the cloners offset time. And that is why I used the spine effector

Not sure I got it right, is the Formula you've used this one: round(rnd;100) Could you explain how does it work? I'm not that good at math/formulas, but I guess it rounds up to full numbers the random values from 0 to 100?

Yeah that's the Formula. It's just a random seed number

This is broken for the later versions of cinema-the later it gets the more broken this effect gets for some reason, or not even the effect, just cinema in general
