Jessica, we totally believe your cow story. My husband grew up on a farm & you cannot make up the things that take place when animals get involved lol. Too bad your old boss didn’t wanna believe it. Small minds just don’t know how to have any fun. Never fails though that when you need to explain a legitimate reason why you were late…that’s the kind of craziness that takes place. Murphy’s law. Keep opening loops - how can you keep getting them to want to stay, how can you (every 2-3 minutes probably) get them to want to watch the next 2-3 minutes? It might take WAY more planning than normal but it might be worth it!

I've just did a quick look. Some unsolicited critique from a random viewer, you can or leave as you will. I looked at the video of the fairy garden in the wheelbarrow. You went from "fairy garden Thursday", talking about some other person, to I have a wheelbarrow I left out. The transition was jarring. I thought you were going to talk about this other person's video, or the other person had the fairy garden themed day, then she gets ignored. If I was writing/making this video, I think I would introduce it like this: Did you know you can make a fairy garden out of anything? Anywhere? You can even create a hidden oasis out of that wheelbarrow with stagnant water. Then I would go with: Welcome to Fairy Garden Thursdays, where I hope to inspire you to create fairy gardens out of things you already have. Today's episode is inspired by other person. Now here's a common, useful but often ugly object you can add a bit of beauty to... (And then cut to the wheelbarrow and your process). I realize that creative processes are difficult, if not impossible, to script. So intros/outros would probably have to be done after the creative portion. I would probably also change the title. If one isn't paying attention to the water in the picture or the weird little hashtag-fairy, one could easily read the subject as using the wheelbarrow to garden in - like using something you already have on hand to make a raised garden bed. I might title it something like: Fairy Garden Hidden Oasis in Wheelbarrow. Hope this internet stranger could be a little help.

ah, it's such a double-edged sword too! Because, I totally see that, your community must LOVE to hang out with you but then that's it, KZbin isn't going to push that video beyond the time you're live - so, my best advice here is that your pre-recorded videos are for BUILDING the following who wants to hang with you on your lives. So, if you can focus on getting more views on those, it'll improve everything.

Is it possible that you are over editing? I haven't looked into your channel yet, but I find there are too many creators who over-edit. There are those who have multiple camera views that make them look like they are trying to be tv news, and not an authentic person. And those who make it look like their video glitches every five seconds, giving the impression that they can't make it even a whole sentence while recording. There are also those whose pre-scripted recording voice sounds different than than their Livestream on-the-fly conversational voice. I don't know if any of these apply.

The same community watches lives, shorts and edited videos. 60 percent watch everything. I should probably make videos shorter, but I find that very challenging. I'm still working on that

We also have to understand that our personal tastes aren’t the general consensus or the algorithm’s tastes. The goal here wasn’t the most insane intro ever, it was to create multiple open loops throughout the whole video and act as the first open loop…which it is doing.
