If you really are making a deeper dive I would like to know how to turn the level into truly endless (create sections ahead of user and delete them after) and also to turn the gates into questions the user have to answer

the endless games are dead based on the publishers data, and this template should customize to turn into an infinite game. making a tutorial based on this topic is on my list.

I downloaded this template last night and messed about, it was great however i also found that when i use the level editor, adding my own 3D models / props after saving the project and level and then using the boot, everything was in place but i could not see any of my objects, also i changed the camera to 'skybox' so i could use my own skyboxes and they wasn't showing on play from boot either. i will keep messing about till i figure out the issue though, unless anyone knows?

ok so after a break I ended up figuring this out just now.. once you have your game object prefabs ready the level editor requires you to add the 'spawnables' script component to the objects your adding in order to use them within your scene, so if your trying to add objects and cannot see them but the layout is changing, then this is what you need to do for them to appear whilst playing.

Please read the developer guidelines, you can find them on the Unity website or Supersonic, If you add your creativity and reskin the game there should be no problem. But my opinion doesn't mean that is legal to do it.

After loading the Free Asset Trash Dash, I have an error: Assets\Scripts\UI\Shop\ShopList.cs(7,12): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'AssetReference' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) and I can't find the game object that uses this script.. Any thoughts?

Not a fan of this template there's a button to reload the game after spending a lot of time making a level you have to press it or the character controller will not work and occasionally it will set all your game objects back to 0,0,0 and can't be undone ( and yes I saved it several times).

Open the Unity Hub, select all templates option, and in the Search all templates box type runner. Recommend using Unity 2020 or a higher version

Lmao i broke the game, m_LevelDefinition is null, which i understand why, i deleted the original level and made new ones. I'm just not sure how or where to add their existence so they can load

I know, the template is a little confusable. but the template was just made to give you perspective about the runner genre! to add your new level to the game sequence, you need to add the level prefab to the RunnerSequenceManager prefab! go to runner folder > prefabs > RunnerSequenceManager then add your new level to the Levels array

@@unitytobrain Thank you! I also managed to find it :), well i love idle games so i will try to make a simple 2d text game to learn unity. With something like "woodcutting" that gives resources each few seconds. Then someway for the player to collect that, and make a save function so the data persist. I think its a good goal for learning and trying it out
