Have you ever made jewelry outside?? And if you haven't will you give it a go? I enjoyed my time silversmithing in the forest so much, that I'll do my best to do it as much as I can from now on 🥰 If you enjoy this type of videos, check out these similar ones: - making a legend inspired necklace: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oICypn-cns-FhqMsi=Rnn5DN5S4S-Hen49 - day in the life, my designing process: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2itlqN_j797eqMsi=XUYFXDIpacyhnREW

The bench peg pose cracked me up. Using the crack in the bench to hold the ring while closing the bezel was genius.
@TheArtOfMetalsmithing3 ай бұрын
we laughed so hard when we realized this is probably the only way I'd be able to do some sawing lol I'm glad it worked though 😀 And that crack in the bench was absolutely perfect for the ring! I might get something smaller to keep at home and use it this way, it made the setting really easy and fast :)

Me too I recognised them straight away as I did the same yesterday to one I was keeping for a project, though mine was too far gone to use! I filled it and by the time I put the kettle down and turned around the pot was overflowing and that really confused me, by then too late, it melted a hole in the bottom and it was a case of bash it into the sink before it did any worse or rolled to the floor where my curious sprocker spaniel was refusing to run! Not annoying but it creates amusement and laughter, after all,I wish I could of seen my face when I turned around and the pot was overflowing and I was dumbstruck I knew it wasn’t filled to the top so how was it overflowing, and how was the label I was trying to remove suddenly forming a ring around a smaller bottle!! Slow penny drop!!! 😊😊😊😊

❤❤❤loved this, and why not! how did your camera person not chuckle with the saw position hunt! Where there is a will there is a way! It’s all part of the adventure! Not sure if it would work due to the position but maybe the saw peg would of jammed between the wood fo the bench like you;did the ring, but you would of had to saw at a 90° which may have been just as awkward! 😊😊😊😊 you may find getting a second saw peg and mount on a wooden wedge and then gently hammer it into the gap of the wood on the bench and that may be enough to hold it still on any bench without the need to get a huge clamp! Just a thought! What a beautiful location and lovely walk. How you both had a lovely day 😊😊😊 was it hubby or friend your camera person, ext time you need koda too!!, ❤❤❤

I was admiring the wire you used to set the pale pink(morganite) stone on your left middle finger. Wishing you many more happy returns to the enchanted forest. 🤗🫶🇨🇦
@TheArtOfMetalsmithing3 ай бұрын
Thank you, thank you! ❤❤❤ It's available in many places, I don't know where you're based, but in the USA for example, you can get it at Rio Grande. I recommend typing "gallery wire" or "decorative bezel wire" in google search too, so that you can see if there are some local options too. Especially, because more shops appear and start selling supplies. Thank you for watching and tuning in!
