An easy way to control the speed of waste oil flow is to use one of those drip control items used in hospitals when you are feed medicines via a needle in the arm. You can get them at most chemists. Only cost a few dollar and work so well. You can see the oil dripping, make adjustments easily and it is all enclosed from the open environment so no potential fire hazard.

It's not simple, those tools will cost alots and the cuttings are difficult to do for a regular person with no experience of using the hand grinder.

Using a grinder is probably the simplest tool there is. More expensive tools like lathes etc now that’s what makes projects so you can’t replicate them without paying a shop to do it. You can get a used welder that’s affordable. The issue is if you have the power setup for it.
