Thank you! Do you mean the edges of the fabric? For the small pieces in the collage I don’t fold the edges under, I leave them raw. Traditional appliqué folds the edges under. Either way is ok! 😊🧵🪡

Thank you! For time, it depends on size how much stitching is added. I add lots of stitch and don’t rush so for me one pouch takes 12 to 18 hours for this small size. In a workshop some people may be able to finish in a day. It comes down to size, stitching speed and detail. Enjoy the process!✨😊✨

Could you please tell me what sort of needle do you use I'm finding it hard to find one that is sharp and goes through the layers easily. TYIA💕

I’d recommend trying Gold Eye Embroidery Needles (No. 3-9) pack by Clover. I use those and also Gold Eye Milliners. That’s when I stitch with 2 strands of embroidery floss. With the perle cotton #8 I use a Chenille needle size 24 (the pack I have is by John James). Some people like sashiko needles which are longer so you may want to try those. I hope you find a needle that works for you! It makes such a difference 😊
