That was very good instructions, thank you. Enjoyed your direct approach...to the point. I absolutely love that you don't ramble foolishly about nothing. Also, thank you for not playing music. Great to be able to hear you. EXCELLENT. Thank you from (hearing impaired) me. :-))))))

Goodness, a wonderful tutorial and I so love your accent and your calmness, how tranquil it makes me feel. Thank you so much this is just what I was needing for my Charm Pack that I received as a gift and I think making your square with them into a Rag quilt will look just so pretty. Sharing is caring.

The stripes and dots are gorgeous and graphic. They’d also look great set on point, diagonally across the quilt. 🤔 now I’m thinking.

Guess what?? I just finished making this block with green stripes and green spots. I have bought different coloured stripes with matching spots - and I can tell you I'm going to have a 'ball'. Hope to make a quilt - once finished, will let you know. Thanks a LOT Susan - your instructions are very clear, and as I said on another comment, you don't use "fancy" templates/rulers, yet your blocks are so inspirational!! Thanks AGAIN!

I need my finished cut block to be a 10" block. Is there a formula or a cut chart to tell me what size my starting blocks need to be to give the different size finished cut blocks? I am not sure if I stated that correctly, but I love the look of this block and would like to use it in my quilts. I see using 5" squares on the diagonal will give me this finished block of 6.5". So, if I use 3 - 6.5" squares to make this block, will that give me a 8" finished block or bigger? Sorry to be so confusing.Love your tutorial, so clear and easily stated for your viewers. Thank you

I believe this is called a Diamond in a Square, sometimes also called a Square in a Square. If you add one more round of triangles, it is the Economy Block.
