many yrs on i am finally getting to make my puppets. gathering tips and tricks :) . revisited the eye blinky .. i looked at it 5 yrs ago with the intent of making . but never got the time. Yay for "just YOLO"-ing it :) I just finished building my first muppet-style puppet, it was a super cool way to repurpose an old foam camping mattress and fabric scrap. "Theodor" is now a lovable grumpy old man character. Thanks for all your teaching and advice that inspires us to do our own projects!

The sanding technique is oddly huge for me. I never thought of doing that, and I need to smooth out some memory foam. Simple but effective. Sometime the best tips come from the most unexpected sources!

I can’t wait to try out these techniques for my future puppets VIDEO SUGGESTION: Dying fleece Similar to how you did the big tongue, dying fleece could be used for a small part of a puppet (ie nose, eyelids) but can also be a full fleece puppet (like a human or alien) Can’t wait for more tutorials. Adam, I once had a dream about a store nearby my house called "Adam Kreutinger Gimmicks" and in the store there was a bunch of puppets you could buy and a few pieces of foam and a snoof so you could make your own puppet. I loved the idea and just wanted to tell you. But in the store there were kids bullying me for not having a puppet. I got very sad and the next day in the dream, the store was gone. The next day after that, the store was back and those kids owned it, they teased me for being "a non-puppet nerd" after that, I changed my whole perspective on puppets and sharing my love for them with other people.

For foam thicker than half inch, I cut it on a ban saw with a fine tooth blade. Smooth and fast.

If you use a heat gun to seal the foam it won't be as porus and also use a primer before u paint Ans a sealer after u paint it will make it alot smoother
