We just made this. Time consuming, but the best king cake we have ever had!! Absolutely delicious!! It's a mix between a cinnabon and king cake. Thanks a million! Can't wait till next year.

When did y'all get a stand mixer? Also, you have no idea how happy it makes me that you're using those spatulas. The spoontula is the king of kitchen utensils, BTW.

I've had the mixer for over a decade! I don't use it often though. And, I'm glad you noticed the spoontula 😂 ...it is a great utensil--thanks again!

@1:41 Price. Shoppers can still find a dozen eggs of cruelty for $1.29 at Target here in Seattle. Sorry but that had to be said. Something fun you could make with the just egg would be vegan fried rice though.

Also bulk flax and chia seeds are cheap too and once you put them in the coffee grinder they make a fine egg replacer when mixed with water. I’m more class-critical than anti-vegan or whatever, ya know?

Flax and water/non-dairy milk is a great replacer, but unfortunately you can't make a good scramble with those! That's what I love about JUST Egg--you can use it in anything eggs can be used (although you can't separate "white" from "yolks")...

Why did you put it in the fridge for the first rise? Usually it is done in a warm spot to rise, then shaped and then risen again
