How To Make A Whipped Body Butter (DIY Whipped Body Butter Non-Greasy) Shea Butter Body Butter

Hello everyone! I am finally sharing a whipped body butter video with you! This recipe does not contain any water, just luxurious butters and oils, whipped to perfection! This recipe contains:
Refined Shea butter
Apricot Kernel Oil
Jojoba Oil
Oat Extract
Fragrance oil
Vitamin E
Arrowroot Powder

Yes, it makes it very easy. However, I do find if you heat the shea butter up just a little, it makes it much easier to whip and combine all the ingredients together.

In a course I'm taking they recommend on self made products that we send to a lab for testing which I'm been making products for a little over 2yrs and had not mold issues and only once had a separation of oils. Do you have a kitchen aid specifically for lotions/creams that’s separate from one you use for food, or do you just clean it out after the butters/oils?

I only have one kitchen aid mixer and it is only used for cosmetics, shampoos, bath bombs and other bath and body creations. I think the stainless steel portions of the mixer could be used for food, just make sure it is washed really well

How do you deal with the air bubbles..I honestly hate seeing them in my pet jars..do y'all get this problem? Also doesn't your butter deflate while being shipped

Yes, air bubbles are a pain. I usually squish all the product down to the tip of the piping bag a few times during the piping.

What are the benefits of adding jojoba oil on top of the apricot kernel oil and other oils?

It has different skin benefits than apricot kernel oil. Together, they pack a punch. You could just use all apricot oil if you have no jojoba oil.

This could be a couple things. Your Shea butter may be expired, or your butter is just a little cold. Try it again but next time warm your Shea butter up in the microwave for 20’sexonds or so before whipping.
