How about gluing up boards to give the tree shape from the end view. Then, just slice off trees like you would slice bread from a long loaf. The glue-up could be speeded up by making a jig consisting of a series of arms to place the boards into a tree shape. Then, it's simply... slice and dice. I did it and I produce a tree ready for a touch of sand paper and some paint. Total time vs total trees... one per minute. Huh? I did 60 trees in just under one hour AND they looked as great as your do!
