i do them free on Canva, after I also take the pic on portrait mode on iPhone. the plus of Canva is i get the exact dimensions of a thumbnail size and I can easily copy the previous thumbnail, change the photo, and keep a logo on the top right corner without having to redo it each time.

Question for you guys are, if your using Sony a5000-a6600 or sometimes iPhone XS as a camera, how do you set up an iPad mini as a second monitor? your best bet is if you dont plan on moving to put an object in place then press down on the object - the phone will lock focus and exposure then just replace the object with yourself - theres always using the selfie camera or having someone help
