Gosh! Ive been a musician for many years and just released my debut album (Stories from Earth) about little more than a month ago. Im just getting started with motoVloging and want to do something different like riding to interesting places and talking about my personal reflections of music and living an intrinsically inspired and driven life. Sean I made it in this video until the end and boy there is so much to creating good content, meaningful videos. I took your advice and literally just got started and recorded my first motoVlog. But now I want to learn as much as I can and yes sir, I learned so much by watching this mega video. Thank you so much. You passion and commitment is bleeding like a mountain river in every section of this video and yes of course in all of what you are doing. Thank you

I remember Tim S did this awhile back and it was fun to watch him try to record, see his slip ups in real time, etc. It was pretty encouraging actually to know it’s as tricky for the experienced ppl as it is for the newbies. 😂

Sean, Thanks so much for creating this video and sharing so many of your KZbin creation secrets. I watched the entire 2 hours and 6 minutes - all four parts - and I will likely watch from start to finish again (maybe even a few time for certain lessons). I especially like the lesson on creating the Thumbnails, since I know that is something I need work on. I am taking it to heart as well, since I am just about to create a new video of my own and I will make sure I take some pictures specifically for the Thumbnail, rather than just taking clips from the video itself. Thanks you.

I’m 68, and as I move forward, and I will move forward, I hope to be an inspiration to others who may think that they’re too old to pull it off. In the meantime, I’m listening to all of your videos as well as watching others, and it’s really helping me focus on finding my niche and developing the strategy I need to be successful. I watched your 2 hour mega-video, and it has been super helpful. I’ll keep you posted as I grow. I’m a huge fan of you and your brand. Keep up the good work.

VERY HELPFUL. Thank you! I noticed that on one wall you have the quote, “Slow and steady wins”, and exactly opposite to it on the wall facing it you have the quote, “Move fast and break things”. Is that like a joke? Or maybe a another good quote to put up could be, “Art is, the expression and display of the complexities of contradiction. And, it is in the application and execution of that expression that is the signature of the artist.”. You’re a photographer, right? You know, like the use of positive and negative space, and balance, or lack thereof, in order to make a point? Hm. That just got me to thinking. You contradicted yourself. We all do. Some of us notice, and some of us just don’t. Interesting. I do like that quote about criticism. I’m trying to overcome fears so that spoke to me. Also helpful.

These videos really do work in the past 10 days I have gotten 330 subscribers and 200 K views I know that doesn’t sound like a lot but for a couple months I was making videos and wasn’t getting nothing and then I watched a couple how to videos and that was it

Hey Sean. Man, this video was looooong! But man, it was so good! Even though I've been a graphic designer and creator for 20+ years I still took loads from this video. It was refreshing to see the human element of how many takes you do for each section of your video. I think this is something people who just start out in video probably end up losing hope after not nailing it, especially if they're not confident and found their voice yet. The shortcut tips for Premiere are also going to come in real handy. I've dipped in and out of Premiere Pro in my career but now I've started my Hive of Many KZbin channel, this is going to speed up my workflow. Thank You Think Media PS. I watched it all, in a few sittings, I fell asleep once and needed a meal part way! EPIC! Peter Jackson would be proud!

I love this channel, and I'm happy I found you. I want to start my own channel, but I had no idea how or where to start. I've played around with editing, and I love it. I want to create tutorials such as this one and start an editing business. It took me 3 days to watch a 2 hour video because I was performing each action along with the video. Your channels are awesome!!

I like the way you did the backwards edit technique. You keep making video takes until you get it right, after you nail the take you know that was the last and best take of that section. Then in editing, you already know the first takes suck so you delete all but the last take of any section. You can be done in minutes! 😁👍

Do you know of anything really simple? It took me hours to figure out how to fix the camera to the tripod. I couldn't turn the camera on. I got one of those little controller things, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. I didn't know you could touch the screen. I know there is a card in the camera and managed to charge it, but I don't understand. Do I have to take that card out and put in in the laptop? When people say beginners, I don't think they think of me. It is just all these numbers and letters and what??????

If I were you I would seek out friends or family that understand computers etc a bit better then you do and ask them for help....better yet see if your local Community College has a computer class you can attend. My wife had to attend a class as a teacher and she said many in the class were like you.....they couldn't even turn on the computer and thought a mouse was a small rodent.....lol....no kidding!!!

@@thommysides4616 So, you mean, it's not a small rodent? Chuckle. I have a disability and I'm very sick so housebound. I've had to move hundreds of miles away from friends and my family are ... I think "dysfunctional" is the polite word. So, no help there. I'm struggling, if I'm honest. I am rather determined which should help. I've got the blog up. You won't believe this, but it is the truth. I was trying to buy a book it was difficult to get and all of a sudden I realised I was setting up a blog. I had intended to have a blog sync in so all good. Struggling like hell to figure out how to do it all. I am saving up to have someone help decorate the blog. It is just so frustrating to not understand things younger people or technological whiz type people can do so easily. Thanks very much for taking the time to leave some suggestions, though. I appreciate it. monasteryoftheflamingsword.com
