This is the best string I’ve used so far for my WaistBeads. There’s barely any shedding and it’s so strong. I normally use 4 pieces.

I guess 4 is the magic number then, since others have found that 4 works for them too lol. Thanks for watching!

I totally agree. This Lydia's crochet cotton thread is the best. I've tried many others but this is the best. I use 4 strings with my Czech 6/0 and 8/0 beads. I use 2 strings with my 11/0 Czech beads. I've been using this since April 2021 with no popping. It also hold my 8mm stones with no issues. Love this.

@Kalea Coles this may seem confusing but if you try it, it will work. Pull your thread two wingspans. Then take the wingspan length pull thread to equal length. (You should all be one piece if you lay it out but folded it’s two pieces ). Then take the open ends and thread your needle (I use a big eye needle heavy). Pull the thread through your needle to one wingspan or evenly and you are ready to start adding your beads.

I'm a crocheter and have a big brand new ball of size 10 aunt Lydia's thread. I was wondering if that would be strong enough. Thank you for this helpful video!

For the threading process would you mind writing out the steps? I apologize, I have rewatched and rewatched, but my brain can’t grasp the concept. If it’s too much I also completely understand. Thank you. 💖

What kind of thread is good for a little stretch, when not making with the exact waist measurements ?

When I use beads that size, they pop almost as soon as I put them on. Ive tried Kite string and the upholstry thread. I'm not sure if the beads are just too heavy string? I'll try this string out. I bought it a while back but never used it. Does it stretch over time?
@LoveJhanelle

Definitely try to use several strands of the thread. I hope you meet success with this thread.

Do you have to burn them at the end or would tying them be sufficient enough?
@LoveJhanelle
@LoveJhanelle 2 жыл бұрын
You don't have to burn the ends. If you tie them tightly they should be fine. The fire is just added security since it molds the knot to itself

How many strings do you suggest for seed beads?

It's honestly what will fit. All beads aren't created equally.

I wouldn't know since I live in America and I don't produce nor sell the product. I would suggest asking around or "Google". Good luck!

I'm a crocheter I would suggest only use size 3 thread for bigger hole beads it is a lot thicker thread than a size 10.
