Ono Hawaiian Recipes Quick question. Is that regular mayonnaise or is it the Japanese mayonnaise? Plus I tried the poke with soy sauce, ur recipe and it was so delicious. My family wants me to make it for thanksgiving smh!
@OnoHawaiianRecipes5 жыл бұрын
Nice! And it is regular mayonnaise. I think the only difference between regular mayo and Japanese mayo is that the Japanese add in a little vinegar. So if you choose to use Japanese mayo, it'll have a slightly different flavor. Hopefully that helped answer your question 😅

I’ve made your poke recipe so many times and my family loves them both. I my daughter wanted Hawaiian food for her birthday and we made a lot of your recipes. Even the hopia pie too. Thank you for so many amazing and yummy recipes. You explain everything very good.

Went to hawaii last year for vacay and our aunty introduced us to foodland and its poke bowls and we FELL IN LOVE 💕 if we ever miss dinner cause we were at the beach too long or driving around too far from home, we'd always get poke bowls before theyd close and some tea. That was our staple meal during our stay and Im glad I can make em myself now thanks to you!💕much love!

Interesting choice for a title. Foodland IS NOT the Hawai’i standard in which poke is measured against, more like a last resort.

It's true but it is the most common one that people would recognize and I mean tourists or mainlanders.

Ono Hawaiian Recipes spam is too strong with its sodium i think, but i guess i making the salmon poke
@saudicomedyhomevideosksa85044 жыл бұрын
@@chill8086 I heard baking or frying the spam removes some of the sodium

U should try tabbaco sauce instead of Sriracha. Trust me its way better

Go get some Kewpie instead of mayo. How is this better than Woodland when it almost copies the recipe on their site?
@muayboran61112 жыл бұрын
Alright, this is good and all but I want "pre-internationalized" poke... too many influences

Spicy poke is done wrong :)...!!! Way too much mayonaise and too creamy no spicy flavors :D...!!!
@MrFancyFingers11 ай бұрын
You should just chug Sriracha.

This is a very generic poke recipe and not authentic.
