I used ice for cooling once and ice does not last long. It does give you cool air though for a little while. This would work better if he used an insulated bucket. It's going to sweat on the outside of the bucket. He needs to use a drip pan underneath the bucket.

Add more salt to water before making the ice this way it will last longer, also you can put thin aluminium paper (used for cooking) inside your plastic container for better dissipation and more cooling. great job!

You can also rock salt or Epson salt to put on top of ice it will get so much colder faster and last a long time. I've had my cooler at 15 ° one time and froze my hog for a plg picking thru and thru.

Looks better than the one I made out of a cheap styrofoam ice chest. Of course, mine was done in 5 minutes and does essentially the same thing.

@ashrafsoliman6366

that is true in addition how long it will last?just some minutes i am HVAC engineer and made a research and found that one ton refrigeration needs to melt 44,66 kg of ice every hour..axial fan is not as good as centrifugal fan..the above mentioned design needs at least 20 watts axial fan to feel the cold air with normal voltage of 220 V

@@rekhasur8613 Yes.but this iscompletely useless.it increases humidity and we are more prone to cough or cold. Another Ice melts so fast when it is in contact with moving air and that means we will get cold air for maximum of 10 min.again Since the fan is exposed to humid air it s copper coil will corrode fast and will get damaged. Another As ice melts water drops appear outside the container and will wet the table or place were it is kept BUT IT IS A GOOD IDEA WITH SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT IT WILL BE USEFUL
