How to make aloe vera soap at home

In this video I show you how I make cold process soap with fresh aloe vera gel.
To make this soap, I replaced the water in the recipe with aloe vera gel that I made from a plant I have at home. I learned how to extract the aloe vera gel watching this video from @Elly’s Everyday Soap Making : • Making Cold Process Al...
For the recipe I used olive oil, coconut oil & 3 different butters. I wanted to make this a very simple soap so I left it unscented and uncolored.

Cold process soap recipe with fresh aloe vera:
Total batch weight: ~860 g
330 g olive oil (55%)
150 g coconut oil (25%)
60 g cocoa butter (10%)
36 g mango seed butter (6%)
24 g shea butter (4%)
166 g frozen aloe vera gel
83.1 g lye
(33% lye concentration, 6% superfat)
Cure the soap 4-6 weeks before using.

What about the yellow oozing that usually is in aloe leaves, you’d rinse that all out first, right?

This is a must do one. Is there anything in the formula of this particular soap that makes you warm up in the oven after molding or it is just because it is convenient in general when doing soaps?

Could you please add more warnings about handling lye solution? e.g. adding lye to water and never water to lye. I came across a lady who is almost blind because of a mishap and I think it is every soaping channel’s responsibility to highlight these risks.
