So many folks think that it's super hard to make...we used to, also, but played around with making it, and if you follow these steps, it comes out perfect every time. Hi Paul! Sure, a tsp would be okay! We LOVE the vanilla taste in our flan, which is why we go with 2 tsps, but 1 tsp would be okay, too!! We hope you make it and love it!!

@@HowToFeedaLoon yes!!! Have made it many times! I usually do the condensed milk one (my ex mother in laws recipe) but have made it this way too. So simple & so good … and yes Wesley, I ALWAYS stress over the eggs curdling & carrying with water filled pan to the oven!!!! You are not alone!!! ;-)
