That looked so amazing, love that color! I am so looking forward to making fried rice on my Blackstone! I always love it when going out for Teppanyaki. I have a couple giant bottles of the ABC Sweet Soy Sauce... the stuff is amazing. Maybe I will try making it both ways. I suppose it make it a bit more Japanese tasting, like Teriyaki... nothing wrong with that! I am moving my Blackstone the patio this weekend... just did pressure washing first because the moss was bananas this year. Looking forward to this griddle season so much! Griddle on!

Oyster and Hoisin Sauces are definitely stocked in my pantry. Also some Filipino Spices. Like a general type of seasoning for my style of cooking. You can never go wrong. My next trip to my Asian Market. I will get you guys some. Send some to you Guys and Todd. You guys will be amazed on the flavor. So I will need some P.O Box Addresses. 🙏

@ALLBOUTTHUGLIFE3 жыл бұрын
Go to a real Asian Market. Anything Premium. I cant Read in Chinese, Korean, Thai or Vietnamese. 😝 But anything Premium with the...... For instance: Oyster Sauce.. Should Read: Oysters in the 1st line of ingredients No flavor enhancers. Real oyster sauce is made with real oysters, reduced down to almost nothin Same with Hoisin Natural ingredients 1st. Then Maybe a couple of preservatives.
@ALLBOUTTHUGLIFE3 жыл бұрын
I will sure be sending you guys a package sometime soon. Might be like $10-$20 but the flavors will definitely impress you and yours 😝 itll be like a powdered marinade. But it stretches the powder to like 2-4lbs of meat. Depending on how much flavor youd like. I make Filipino Longaniza with that. Man, you'll have ppl beggin to clean your gutters, mow your lawns, wash your cars, shave your heads for a year 🤣
@ALLBOUTTHUGLIFE3 жыл бұрын
Hoisin is added to like: Stir fry rice, chow mein, chicken, wings, basically anything not soupy. So even beef and brocc. You will love it. It's not a sauce from protein. Combined with oyster sauce. It's the best. ****Note: Oyster Sauce and Hoisin are in sauce form. ***Filipino spices are powder form

Looks great, next time try Trader Joe's Pork Belly (they're fully cooked). If you want to bring it up a few more notches turn the pork belly into the Chinese BBQ (like the pork used in Chinese restaurants) make a quick Char Sui sauce: 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar (white also ok) 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup hoisin sauce 2 tbsp light soy sauce , or all purpose soy 1 tbsp soy sauce , just all purpose (or more light soy) 1 tsp Chinese five spice powder 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola) 2 tsp red food colouring , optional Mix Marinade ingredients in a bowl. Place the pork and Marinade in a stain proof container or ziplock. For at least 2 hours or overnight is even better. Aaaamazing
