I am so glad you guys finally learned the trick with adding the eggs to the middle of the rice! Ha ha. As a bonus tip, when doing omelets or pouring from a bowl, pour a little at first, wait just a few moments for the outer edges to get a little more solid, then pour the rest of the eggs into it. Basically using the outside edge of the eggs like you did with the rice in here.

What are the cooking temps for your Blackstone 22in E series grill users . This grill does have 2 cooking zones also.
@waltwins3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! The temps may be a bit different for the indoor e series, we would consider starting okie and increase temp. When I have monitors temps, we are typically between 350-380, and as a high as 400 (when it pushes 420ish is when we really drop the temp and watch). Not sure if this helps, but we are less familiar on the e series! Take care!🔥🔥

New to your channel. I love watching you guys. I've made fried rice so many times in a traditional Wok. I use or sliced onion, fresh minced garlic, fresh mushrooms, 1 inch pieces of scallions (green onions), pea pods, and chicken. Although I do think the veggies you used are colorful where I come from they were not used in fried rice. I was surprised to see peas, carrots and light colored fried rice when I went to Florida and now the same where I live in Indiana. Previously from the Northern area the fried rice is darker, and aromatic. That's when I took to making my own. Took me a long time to get

Just did your first chicken fried rice recipe last Sunday. Wouldn’t know about the rice process if I hadn’t seen it on your chicken fried rice version 1, did it (basmati) a day ahead (rice cooker) on cookie sheet in the fridge overnight Noticed you didn’t use garlic this time for the chicken and changed the sequence. Our sweet soy sauce is “ketjap manis” but I believe that’s Indonesian for sweet soy sauce. My wife’s verdict was “better than from the Chinese take-out place”, to me a huge compliment since I’m new to griddling.I thought it was a bit too sweet. I noticed you deployed the salt shaker more this time around, so I’ll pick up on that next time. My wife can’t do spicy, but personally I like a couple of spoons of “Sambal Oelek”.. no sesame seeds since the misses gets them underneath her dentures.
@waltwins3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and for letting us know! He’s, we made a few changes - the garlic was a simple oversight (we can’t believe we forgot it!😂😂), and Brett actually likes to put regular soy sauce in as well for added savoriness. Yes, the ABC Sweet soy sauce is actually Indonesian Ketjap Manis, we love it! We just love the process - it’s almost always a touch different, but always amazing! Take care and GRIDDLE ON FAM!🔥🔥

Looks amazing as always! So, I re-watched last year's episode before watching this. I've grown this summer as a griddle cook, so I have a different view, too (a lot because of you both!) We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables kzbin.infoUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press.This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.
