It's that they don't add a lot of liquid and they use that thing to push the stuff down while blending which makes it smoother, but having an expensive blender definitely helps

yall i have made a smoothie like this with the same consistency, the key is the order in which you place the ingredients, i use a regular blender, frozen and fresh fruit and some milk which could be replaced with any liquid really. to me the key ingredient is a frozen banana; it should be semi frozen like maybe a few hours before you make your smoothie bc if it’s too stiff u risk messing up ur blender. so u put the banana at the bottom along with any other frozen fruit (which would be right where the spikes are), the fresh fruit on top of that and then add just a slight bit of your liquid. then try to blend it and if it doesn’t mix right away smush it all down a lil. you won’t get it to blend right away with a regular blender and if u do i don’t think the end product will come out as thick and you might need to add more liquid as you go if it’s not blending enough. so you’ll have to pause, smush, blend (at the slowest speed) and repeat once u get ur desired blend :) after a while u won’t need to smush but that’s just up to how you went through w the process.
