Pretty much what happened to me
@jameslake6306Ай бұрын
My first boat project is under way now. I'm doing a total refit of a 93 Lund Tyee GS 1850. For this last 10 months I've removed the Maroon 1993 interior completely including front and rear decking. Cut, epoxied, EV'ed, glued, upholstered every stick of furniture in the boat and changed to a white/grey/charcoal color palette. Also did a Coosa/Gluvit transom and opened up both gunnells for washdown kit and power poles on each transom horn. I welded a swim ladder platform on the starboard side of splashwell and lowered my transom tie-downs 5" so I could mount the power poles a bit lower--that idea came from "No Fish Nick" and I liked it enough to do that on my Lund. Because the power poles are hydraulic, I added space to the port side of the splashwell to locate the 2 pumps together. Also added front, center, and rear storage for electronics and fishing tackle. I removed the live well aerator "T" and installed a "90" to allow 1 of 2 live wells to be used as dry storage. I'm only painting the stern this year; the rest of the boat will be painted next year. Boat will be in rivers and lakes so I installed the Garmin Kraken trolling motor along with 5 chartplotters and 3 transducers on both ethernet and/or NMEA2K networks.

How did you screw the fish finder and glove box in without cracking. I’m on my second piece and it cracks every time

You have to predrill to the exact size of the screw. At least that's what I did. What thickness is your acrylic?

Always keep a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and a rag around when working with 5200. It wipes off like butter. In a bind, you can also just use hand sanitizer to clean up 5200.
