Have you put a 12v to 24v step up transformer on any of them? I am currently using a 18v drill battery but I am going to do a 10ah lithium.

Nice work! Yeh, making subwoofer low bass out of these Fat 50 cans was a real challenge for me. But, got the tuning nailed. It takes a lot time tuning, experimenting, and failures to get these boxes to sound right. My bigger ammo can BT speakers with 8" or 10" DVC subs are really lowlowlow bass thumpers. But, very heavy and not very portable. Keep up the great work!

Just saw an ad for an ammo can boom box, and thought to myself, dang, I can probably make something like that and probably for less than the $900🇨🇦 they were asking. I looked and found this channel. Needless to say, I’m a new subscriber. Haven’t gone through the playlist as of yet, was wondering about how much this cost to build. I’m on permanent disability, and if I could make these for a reasonable amount, I might be able come up with a little extra income. This could save my life.

My son is recently medically retired from the army. I wanted to build him a ammo can speaker. He spent 6years with the 10 mountain corps, and when you pulled out the mountain sticker I died laughing, thank you for the build.

It does not. It works perfectly fine in the ammo cans.

This box you stated you used a SLA battery because you have to ship it. I another video you showed a Li Ion battery pack...would that be able to power this boom box effectively and with a similar life span? I just want to lessen the wight of the overall build.

If its leaving the country on a plane, it can't be a lithium ion battery. I normally use a lithium ion battery in this size ammo can

Can you show how you charge the box? I see the connector used, but in your previous video you I see you dumped the end of the power adapter.

You can't. That board also doesn't need one. You can get at least 30 to 40 feet away from it. There are other boards from Parts Express you can add an antenna to.
