Hi Jen - just a quick question. By using a heat n bond or wonder web as it is here in England, by using this to cut out your shape as in this video, does this stop the material from fraying ? I know you'll stitch around the edge. Many thanks Linda
@ShabbyFabrics5 жыл бұрын
Hello Linda! The heat n bond or wonder web does not keep it from fraying which is why it has to be sewn down. Merry Christmas! 🎄~Leah

Need to know if the Heat N Bond help the fabric not to fray. I'm concern that if the fabric start fraying it will ruin the beautiful bunny pillow!
@ShabbyFabrics3 жыл бұрын
That is a valid concern. We do use Heat 'N Bond with our laser cut applique shapes, and it can help the fabric not fray. However, if you are concerned about the raw edges fraying, you may want to use another method, such as the "turned under applique" Jen demonstrates here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYa8m4ekjruFjJI Hope that makes sense! 💖 -Michelle

@@ShabbyFabrics Thanks so much for getting back to me. I'll try the "turned under applique" It does make sense!! Stay safe

HI Jen, I guess I'm late watching your video (by a few years lol). What fabric did you use for the rabbit? I've spent time googling the calico days line you mentioned but didn't find that color. thank you for your help with this Jenn Harmony-Walker

+Ann Philbeck very true. It is always best to follow the manufacturers instructions. The Heat N Bond that we sell all has the same procedure, luckily!
